How old do I have to be to attend Italia Conti Barbican Saturday School?
We accept students between the ages of 2 and 18 for a variety of classes. Check the timetable for the classes available for your age group.
How much is it to attend Italia Conti Barbican Saturday School?
Classes cost £105 per class per term (£65.00 for half hour classes) for a 12 week term. Fees must be paid on or before the first day of term. If you are joining mid way through the term you will receive an invoice prior to enrolment.

What time is my class?
Classes run from 9:00 – 16:30. Check the timetable for your class time and studio number.
I have never danced before, can I still attend class?
Yes, of course. Italia Conti is open to anyone who wants to learn a theatre arts skill. We work together to find the class that is most suitable for you. Sometimes due to classes being very popular we may need to place you on a waiting list until a space become available.
Can I just turn up and try a class?
Unfortunately not. We cannot accept new students without an online application made through the website.
I am visiting London. Can I come and do a class with you while I am visiting?
Unfortunately not. Italia Conti Barbican Saturday School only accepts students who are enrolling for the term.
How long will I have to wait to hear back after my application?
We try to get back to you with a start date as soon as possible. We accept students for the start of term a new term and after the half term break.
Which class will I be put into?
When you apply online you will select the class appropriate to your age group and ability. Please note that if you are applying for RAD Ballet or ISTD Modern or Tap you will need to have completed the grade prior to the one you are applying for. If you have no previous ballet, tap or modern experience and would like to apply for RAD or ISTD classes please call the Saturday School for advice on which grade to apply for. New students are assessed by the teachers and your classes may be adjusted accordingly.
What do I wear to class?
In your first week please wear slim fitting, comfortable clothes that you can move in. After the first week we expect you to wear the correct uniform for class. You can find details of the uniform list on the website.
Do I have to wear uniform?
Yes. Uniform is compulsory for those attending classes at Italia Conti. Consistent lack of uniform will result in removal from class.
When do I pay my fees?
Term fees are due on the first day of term. Invoices remaining unpaid after week 1 will be subject to a £20 late fee. Invoices that are unpaid after week three will result in students being withdrawn from their classes.
Is there anywhere to buy food and drink at the Saturday School?
We sometimes have an onsite cafe where you can buy food and snacks throughout the day. It is however advisable to bring food with you or money to purchase food from the many local shops.
